If you meet one of these criteria, you've landed at the right place. We are a certified Maryland State Inspection Station and can perform the MVA Safety Inspection for you.
Our Maryland State Safety inspections are performed on dry days and take about 90 minutes to complete. A skilled technician road tests the vehicle and then goes through a multi-point inspection -- performing all the inspection items to the Maryland standard. If you are buying a vehicle that has not been inspected we strongly recommend that you have it inspected first before agreeing to purchase the vehicle. This is a very detailed inspection so it can be a very good guide as to the condition of the vehicle.
1. You received a notice from the MVA stating that you need to have an emissions inspection performed by a certain date.
Emissions inspections are required to be performed every two years. This inspection is part of the Maryland Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP), and was set up to help improve the air and water quality in Maryland.
Importantly, Emissions Inspections can only be performed at Maryland state facilities, not auto repair or service stations. We do not perform this inspection, but we do perform repairs if you did not pass your emissions inspection.
If you've already completed your emissions inspection and repairs are required we can help you. Just make an appointment for us to service your vehicle. Learn more about the emissions test or emissions repairs here.
