I was at a party the other night and, as it often does, the subject of Twitter came up. Interestingly, the people I was talking to thought of it as mostly a frivolous communication vehicle for younger people -- just young people keeping in touch. Well, as a recent Twitter convert, it has proven to be an excellent resource for me, and it can be for you too. In fact, the average age of people on Twitter is 39 years old. Here at British American Auto Care, we have a Twitter account, @brianecaradvice, and I tweet regularly. (A tweet is a short one line update of 140 characters or less). I tweet about the latest green car innovations (like the new Chevy Volt, the Nissian Leaf, or the latest conversion of a Toyota Prius into a plug-in electric car), provide tips on car repairs and maintenance, as well as offer a few tips about the happenings in Columbia, my home for over thirty years. If you need a brief answer to an auto related question, Twitter is an excellent way to reach me.
